Title
Wedding Cockroach
Description
The term "wedding banquet cockroach" has been circulating in Taiwan for a long time. It describes people who bring a meager gift to a wedding but bring their whole family to enjoy the dinner. This behavior is referred to as being a "wedding banquet cockroach."
We discovered a film, *The True Story of Nuomi*, which captivated us with its color scheme, satirical elements, and wedding scenes. Inspired by this, we expanded our focus to explore larger weddings, blending Chinese and American wedding traditions.
However, the topic we wish to discuss goes beyond just the behavior of "wedding banquet cockroaches." There are many aspects of hosting a wedding that merit exploration, from food and clothing to etiquette and the psychological experiences of the bride and groom. After all, what does marriage mean to Generation Z? What kind of mindset do they have when they tie the knot?
