Event Description
The Young Designers' Exhibition (YODEX) is Taiwan’s largest and most prestigious annual design showcase, bringing together the creative work of graduating students from diverse design disciplines, including fashion, product, interior, and visual communication. Since its establishment in 1982, YODEX has grown into a key platform for emerging talent, offering students the opportunity to present their designs to industry professionals, gain exposure, and make meaningful connections. The event plays a crucial role in promoting Taiwan’s growing influence in the global design landscape.
Event Highlights
At the 2023 New Generation Design Exhibition (YODEX), students from Shih Chien University’s Department of Fashion Design delivered outstanding performances, earning multiple prestigious awards. Shun-Zhi Han won the Best Design of the Year in the fashion design category for their work, "The One of One," receiving a prize of NT$100,000. Additionally, three other students were recognized for their exceptional designs: Ya-Lin Chen with "Ceramic Form in Cyan," Yun-Kai Zheng with "Confessions of a Revengeful Mindset," and Sheng-Yuan Chen with "Tea-Colored Landscapes." Each of these projects received a prize of NT$20,000, highlighting the creativity and innovation of Shih Chien University's fashion design students.
