JIA-CHANG DAI

My design inspiration comes from my hometown, Hualien, a free and pure land rich in literature and living monuments. Growing up in this land, I was deeply nourished by the culture, exploring the essence of tradition and breathing new life into it through design.

In my designs, I can see the dialog between totem and tailoring, hear the sound of cultural flow, and smell the breath of the land. This is not just design, but a sense and passion for culture, an exploration and sublimation of tradition.

Let the culture go out of Taiwan, let the world see the beauty and depth of this land.
