Event Highlights
The Second Year collaborative project on Taiwanese aboriginal culture is held annually at the Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines. It is not only a showcase of students’ learning outcomes but also a tribute to and reinterpretation of Taiwan's indigenous cultures.
Building upon the foundational creative courses from their freshman year, sophomore students deepen their research into indigenous culture through this project. They integrate core elements of fashion design—materials, colours, and silhouettes—into their work, exploring new possibilities for contemporary indigenous attire. This is more than just a design exercise; it is a cultural exploration rooted in Taiwan, envisioning a modern expression of indigenous clothing.
