"Contradiction — that’s how I see fashion, design, and clothing. When people dress, they sometimes crave subtlety, other times they want to stand out. They love comfort but also chase style. This constant tension might be exactly the state I want to capture — to grasp desire while keeping a sense of humor. What appears to be opposing forces is, in fact, a kind of balance."

Description
When the line of defence fractures, the shadows within will ultimately turn into a force that strikes back.
This collection takes its name from a popular internet term describing the sudden emotional collapse triggered by a single message, image, or comment. It reflects a core aspect of contemporary psychology: when our defense mechanisms fail, the source of the problem often lies within our own internal systems. Much like a computer that, without timely updates and repairs, is slowly consumed by outdated programs and viruses, our vulnerabilities are revealed in the process of breakdown and overwrite — exposing the fragile yet authentic core of our being.
For this collection, I chose basic silhouettes as the foundation — practical, mix-and-match pieces for everyday wear. The design details and textures draw inspiration from the structure and form of traditional armor. Techniques like paneling, slashing, and layering enhance the garments’ uniqueness and craftsmanship. The interplay between stiff and soft materials creates a protective armor-like silhouette, symbolizing the emotional and psychological defenses built by modern individuals. Dark outer fabrics torn to reveal bright inner linings represent the cracks in those defence mechanisms.
The fabric selection combines faux snakeskin laminates, glossy rib knits, crinkled faux leather, cotton, wool, and stretch mesh. These contrasting textures — smooth vs. rough, shiny vs. matte — generate visual tension, mirroring the internal contradictions that lie beneath our psychological defences.
