TZU-WEI YANG

This collection draws inspiration from my 100-kilometer pilgrimage on foot in Spain. Rope is used as the main design element—serving as the core language for adjustment, connection, and decoration. It is both a visual feature and a functional detail.

On the trail, rope represents safety and collaboration; it is not only a practical tool but also a symbol of the bond between people and nature, and among people themselves.

The designs also incorporate photographs taken during the journey, creating a more immersive experience for the viewer. I hope that, after learning the story behind these pieces, you’ll be inspired too.
