Clothing is more than something we wear; it is a vessel that carries memories and hopes. Fabric and the body intertwine across time and space, becoming traces that belong to each individual. To me, design is a way of seeing the world—finding inspiration in life, culture, and human emotions, then transforming intangible feelings through clothing into stories that can be seen, touched, and carried forward.

Glimpses of Tainan
Description
Beginning with the light, shadows, and cultural memories of Tainan, this collection reinterprets local imagery—including traditional motifs, stone lions at street corners, temple eaves, and egrets—into a contemporary fashion vocabulary.
The color palette centers on black, skin tones, and orange-brown, echoing the warm tones created when afternoon sunlight enters a temple hall, intertwining with incense and shadows. Leather, sheer fabric, and satin are combined through embossed leather, three-dimensional structures, inlays, and layered materials to evoke the clean silhouettes of temple architecture, the weight of stone sculpture, and the fluid movement of egrets in flight and their reflections.
Black sheer fabric is repeatedly layered over different colors and textures, creating fleeting shadows as the garments move with the body—like the transient landscapes of Tainan preserved in memory. Through the reinterpretation of local culture, traditional craftsmanship, and natural landscapes, clothing becomes a vessel for memory, allowing it to be continually seen, preserved, and passed on.
