I see fashion as a trace left behind by time. It carries the lifestyle, technology, and values of an era, while reflecting how people imagine themselves and the future. To me, design is a response left within time—preserving the feelings of the present while allowing new perspectives to carry forward into the next era.

Description
“Traces in Form” takes inspiration from the marks that time leaves upon the natural environment. Beginning with the surface textures created through sedimentation, erosion, and abrasion, the collection transforms these accumulated and altered forms into a fashion language.
Computer knitting serves as the primary technique, using variations in yarns, structures, and patterns to recreate layers of sediment and the irregular, fragmented textures left behind by erosion. Thick, substantial knitwear is paired with soft, fluid fabrics to create a contrast between weight and lightness. The color palette of black, gray-brown, dark brown, and burgundy evokes the tonal variations found in traces of erosion.
The silhouettes feature loose forms, asymmetric structures, and variations in length, allowing fabrics to naturally accumulate, drape, and flow. Leather and metal hardware are incorporated to enhance the structural quality. The collection seeks to portray how matter is continuously transformed by the passage of time while simultaneously leaving behind new forms.
