Masa Tung, the head of the Fashion Department at Shih Chien University, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as Associate Professor Rank Specialist in Fashion Accessories and Textiles. Masa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design from Shih Chien University and has further honed her craft at Japan's renowned Bunka Fashion College, specializing in fashion crafts and accessory design.


Since 2015, Masa has served as a dedicated full-time Associate Professor at Shih Chien University, following her tenure as an Assistant Professor from 2012 to 2015. Her industry experience includes roles as a brand designer for Japan's Spic International and Gore-Tex Taiwan, as well as an accessory designer at International Deep Corporation.


Masa's talent and innovation have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Jury Grand Prize at the 2007 Taito Fashion Zakka Fair and the Product Gold Prize from Japanese company MELX in 2006. Additionally, she was the recipient of a full scholarship from the Japan Takashimaya International Asian Talent Development Program.


Her creative works have been showcased in various exhibitions, such as the Fashion Era. Era Fashion - Traversing Taiwan's Fashion Memories and the solo exhibition A Kind of Salt Smell in Sapporo, Japan. Masa has also contributed to academic journals, with research focused on integrating traditional craft techniques into modern fashion design.
