Hi, I’m Yu-Chieh, and my journey since graduating from SCFD has been an exciting one. I began as a design assistant at a women's fashion company in Taiwan, which gave me a solid foundation in the industry. I then pursued a master’s degree in Marketing at the University of Edinburgh. After graduating, I moved to London and joined an international bridal brand as a Studio Assistant. Today, I’m their Social Media Manager, leading the digital marketing strategy for the company. The transition from design to marketing has been incredible, and I’ve enjoyed every step of the way. The transferable skills I gained at Shih Chien have been essential throughout my journey.

Educational Highlight

One of my favourite classes was the third-year fashion design course, where we had the chance to create our own brand. It sparked my interest in marketing and opened my eyes to the importance of branding. This experience ultimately influenced my career shift from design to marketing and continues to inspire me today.
