Hi, I’m Zi-Shin Wang, the founder and designer behind the brand Claudia Wang. I was born in France and grew up in an artistic family, where creativity was a part of everyday life. Even as a student, I was actively involved in the fashion industry, which laid the groundwork for my career. In 2020, I launched my own fashion label, and since then, it’s been a whirlwind. I’ve participated in Taipei Fashion Week for three consecutive seasons, debuted my work at London Fashion Week in 2022, and collaborated with a virtual Teresa Teng for an immersive fashion show in Taipei. My passion lies in blending art, technology, and fashion — using vivid colors and bold patterns to tell stories. I’ve also explored virtual fashion in the metaverse, streamlined production with 3D technology, and had the incredible opportunity to present my collection at Tate Modern in London. It’s been an exciting journey, and I’m so grateful for where it’s taken me so far.

Educational Highlight

The course that left the biggest impression on me was the creative thinking workshop taught by an international lecturer from the Netherlands. The experience was eye-opening and encouraged me to approach design with more freedom and curiosity. I also had the chance to participate in a short-term exchange program in Paris, which broadened my perspective on fashion and culture. These experiences shaped the way I design today, giving me the tools to merge art, technology, and sustainability into a cohesive vision.
