Fashion Designer

I graduated from Shih Chien University's Department of Fashion Design in 2010. After graduation, I worked as an assistant to the design director at the Taiwanese designer brand Cai Jia-Jin for over a year. This experience solidified my passion for pursuing a career in fashion design and inspired me to study abroad in Italy. I enrolled in the Master's program in Collection Design at Polimoda in Florence—a city I had always dreamed of living in because of its rich artistic and cultural heritage. My time in Italy was transformative, from exploring local museums on free-entry days to traveling across the country and visiting cities like Rome, Milan, and Venice. These experiences expanded my creative perspective and deepened my understanding of design. After returning to Taiwan, I joined SST&C as a fashion designer, focusing on menswear and womenswear with an Italian aesthetic. My job involves traveling to international fabric exhibitions, tracking market trends, and creating collections that resonate with customers. Hearing that the items I designed sold well is always a proud moment for me.

Educational Highlight

The most unforgettable experience during my studies was Fashion Week. It wasn’t just about presenting collections but also about overcoming challenges and building relationships. The models and makeup artists who helped me back then are now my industry collaborators. That event taught me the importance of teamwork and perseverance—lessons that continue to benefit my career today.
