COMPUTER AIDED PATTERN-MAKING & GRADING (I)(II)

ELECTIVE COURSE

This course aims to introduce the principles and operational techniques of computerized pattern making. Through practical exercises, students will become proficient in the use of pattern-making software, including pattern design, pattern modification, size grading, and marker making techniques.

The course primarily focuses on the GERBER AccuMark software, covering image reading, pattern drafting, size grading, and marker making. Students will develop the skills to efficiently create and adjust garment patterns, generate quick cost estimations, and execute marker layouts. Through hands-on practice and instructional exercises, students will gain familiarity with workflow operations in the apparel industry, enhancing their professional capabilities in computerized pattern making, precise process planning, and related applications in the garment sector.
